M Color is M Room’s color service for adding depth to your natural color, blending gray hairs or adding subtle highlights with combing technique. Pricing starts at €64, and no appointment is needed.
The price includes the color treatment and a hair wash. The final price depends on the work done and the length of your hair, and your barber tells you the price before the work starts. A haircut is bought separately.
Hair color always needs some processing time. So it’s worth setting aside a little more time for this visit than for a haircut.
About the M Color service
What does M Color include?
M Color includes a permanent color treatment and a hair wash. The visit starts with a consultation. Your barber goes through what to expect from the result and how the price is made up, and gives you an estimate of how long the service takes.
Permanent color gives a covering result that lasts. Hair can be darkened by up to four levels from your own color. Uncolored hair can also be lightened by about one level, if you want a little brightness in the overall look.
You can combine a haircut with the same visit. Choose both services as you join the queue, so that enough time is set aside for the work.
Who is M Color for?
M Color is for you when you want a subtle change, a natural result, or both. It doesn’t call for active upkeep or a long-term commitment.
Comb highlights are a popular example. They’re soft highlights drawn through the hair with a comb, and the result looks a bit like hair lightened by the sun. They bring light to the face and liven up your color without changing it completely.
The M Color result doesn’t need active upkeep. The closer the result is to your own color, the less the regrowth shows and the less often the color needs redoing.
When should you choose M Special Color?
Choose M Special Color (from €84) when the color is changed clearly from what you have now. That means significant lightening, a highlighting technique, or work that involves several different colors.

What can you add to M Color?
A color treatment puts a strain on the structure of the hair. A K18Peptide™ molecular repair treatment combined with an extended scalp massage costs €12 and fits naturally alongside a color service.
You can also add other M Premium Extra services to a color visit for €7–12 each.
You can choose your add-on when you join the queue in My M Room. You can also choose it with your barber at the shop.
Frequently asked about the M Color service
No. You can join the queue in advance in My M Room, or come straight in and join the queue at the front desk. Do allow plenty of time in your day, though. If you would like more certainty, you can come in for a consultation before the visit itself.
Permanent color never washes out completely. It fades gradually over time and with washing. The bigger the difference between your own color and the applied shade, the more often the color needs redoing.
M Color can blend gray hair to a degree, but covering it fully may take more time and work. If you have a lot of gray, or it’s stubborn to cover, your barber will most likely recommend M Special Color during the consultation.
Yes. The price of a color service includes the color treatment and a hair wash. A haircut isn’t included in the M Color price and is charged separately.
Yes. You can choose your barber at every M Room barbershop. You can also join the barbershop-wide queue. In that case the first barber who becomes free will serve you.
